To enable the dark theme on Android 10, go to your Gmail app on the phone, tap on the hamburger menu at the top left and tap on Settings> General settings> Theme>Dark.

To enable the dark theme on iOS 13, you can set your device to the dark theme in iOS Settings, and Gmail, by default, will automatically respect the system default setting. You can also go to Gmail’s Settings, tap on Theme and select Dark.

According to a Sammobile report, Gmail’s dark mode is available only on Android 10 devices and will not work on Android Pie running Samsung devices.
