AMD Adrenalin is planning to come up in 2020 with 20.5.1 beta along with hardware-accelerated GPU planning
Somewhat confusing from AMD.
But the list of known problems is very long.
AMD recently released a beta version of the AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.5.1 driver, which brought support for the “GPU Scheduling with hardware acceleration” feature for the RX 5700 and RX 5600 series of video cards, including mobile versions. For the RX 5500, chips with Polaris and Vega architectures, as well as Ryzen APU, the function is not yet available.
As a reminder, the new “GPU Scheduling with hardware acceleration” feature is part of the new WDDM 2.7 graphics driver architecture that appeared in Windows 10 May 2020 Update. This innovation can potentially improve performance and reduce latency since the video card can directly control its video memory.

After installing the updated drivers, a new option” Scheduling a GPU with hardware acceleration “will appear in the” Settings “section of Windows 10 in the”graphics Settings” section. To fully enable the function, you will need to restart your computer.
Oculus VR Headsets may not display content or may suffer severe performance degradation when hardware planning is enabled.
Enhanced Sync can result in a black screen when enabled in some games and system configurations. All users who may experience problems with enabled advanced synchronization should disable it temporarily.
Some users may still have problems with a black screen or a system crash during longer seasons.
Some game titles may experience problems when instant playback is enabled in system configurations of the Radeon RX 5000 series.
