Amazon’s Prime Video app adds a button to mix TV shows

Amazon Prime Video adds a push button to its library. A new mixing feature, first known by Android Police, has revealed the latest version of Prime Video player for Android devices. Prime Video users will select an option and the episodes will start playing randomly saving time for selecting and selecting the show.

The feature currently released for selected users is similar to the Netflix ‘shuffle’ button which also plays a sitcom episode randomly or with a movie in between. The Netflix mixing feature was confirmed in January 2021 and was available to users on TV as it was in the testing phase. There is no stable feature release yet.

Netflix recently said: “It really works when our members can basically show us that they just want to skip browsing completely, click one button and we will select a title for them to play right away. And that is a good way to work for members of that situation. ”

While Netflix selects content from the shows that the user has already watched and added to the watch list, Amazon Prime Video shoves and plays one-season episodes of a particular program. This can limit the feature and how to play random content from different shows.

Feature not detected on iOS devices yet. Also, there is no announcement or guarantee about it from the company itself. It may be downloaded to Android devices and Fire tablets / Fire-enabled devices in the future
