Microsoft: Windows 11 LTSC will be released in the second half of 2024 » Community

Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1755 and 22624.1755 (Beta Channel)

Good evening friends! Microsoft has released new preview builds of Windows 11 (version 22H2) numbered 22621.1755 And 22624.1755 (KB5026438) for members of the Windows Insider Beta Program.

  • Assembly 22624.1755 – testing of new functions is available.
  • Assembly 22621.1755 – new features are disabled by default.

Reminder! Insiders who were previously on Build 22623 will automatically be upgraded to Build 22624 via the Service Pack. This package artificially increments the build number to make it easier for Microsoft engineers to distinguish between enabled and disabled devices by default.

If you are in a group with features disabled by default (build 22621.xxx), then check for updates and agree to install an optional update that will make these features available (build 22624.xxx).

Full build numbers:

  • 10.0.22621.1755.ni_release_svc_betaflt_prod1.230428-1356
  • 10.0.22624.1755.ni_release_svc_betaflt_prod1.230428-1356

Fixes in build 22624.1755

  • Options:
    • Fixed a crash in the Settings app when trying to uninstall the app while using grid view.
  • Input:
    • We fixed an issue where the Paste Text button in Pinyin IME was not displaying correctly in some cases.

Fixes in both builds

  • We fixed an issue that could cause the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) to become unresponsive if the system is processing multiple local account operations. The error code is 0xc0000005.

Known Issues

  • Search on the taskbar:
    • If you have a Bing button in the search bar on your taskbar and you restart your computer, you may see an important event from the daily rotation for some time before the Bing button returns to its place.
  • Widgets:
    • When you first launch the widget panel, you may momentarily see widget/card placeholders from the old two-column layout, even if the device supports a three-column layout.

We wish you a successful update!
