Good Morning friends! Microsoft has released new preview builds of Windows 11 (version 22H2) numbered 22621.601 and 22622.601 (KB5017384) for members of the Windows Insider Beta Program.
- Assembly 22622.601 – testing of new functions is available.
- Assembly 22621.601 – new features are disabled by default.
If you are in a group with features disabled by default (build 22621.xxx), then check for updates and agree to install an optional update that will make these features available (build 22622.xxx).
Full build numbers:
- 10.0.22621.601.ni_release_svc_prod2.220906-1320
- 10.0.22622.601.ni_release_svc_prod2.220906-1320
Fixes in both builds
- We fixed an issue where tapping the network connection icon on the lock screen did not work and caused the Lock Screen to crash.
- Chile DST date changed. Daylight Saving Time will occur on September 11, 2022, not September 4, 2022.
- Reduced Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol power consumption on some devices when they are in sleep mode.
- We fixed an issue affecting calls on dual SIM devices. If the No SIM option is selected on the device and a call is initiated, the Dual SIM feature will not work.
Known Issues
- General:
- We are investigating reports of some Insiders having audio playback stop working after updating to the latest builds on the Beta channel.
