Apple iOS 16.0.2 update fixes bugs: Check what’s been fixed

Cupertino-based Apple has released the iOS 16.0.2 update that fixes the bugs. Days after the big public launch of Apple’s latest operating system update for iPhones, users have encountered several noticeable bugs. Traditionally, whenever Apple releases a major operating system update, there are always a few issues that crop up frequently. Apple has now released a new update – iOS 16.0.2.

A new update from Apple provides bug fixes for a bug that caused camera shake and blurry photos when taking photos with some third-party apps on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The first bug to hit the Apple iPhone 14 Pro model, users took to Reddit to claim that the rear camera setup on their phones was shaking violently and making noises when used with third-party apps like Snapchat and Instagram. In the native camera app, the iPhone 14 Pro models seem to work without problems.

Second, there was a bug in the new feature that kept asking users for permission to put something in the app and it irritated most users. It was designed as a security feature to make the user aware that the content they are trying to embed may store sensitive information. However, the permission came up every time they tried to insert text from another app.

iOS 16.0.2 update is released for iPhone 8 and later iPhone variants. It’s about 270MB in size and also includes fixes for cases where the screen may appear completely black during device setup, VoiceOver not available after restart, and issues where touch input on some iPhone models became unresponsive after servicing. In addition to these bug fixes, the update also brings important security updates.

As a reminder, Apple recently released an iOS update for the recently launched iPhone 14 series along with a select few older iPhone models. The tech giant has released the iOS 16.0.1 update exclusively for the latest iPhone 14 series. The update is believed to fix bugs that could affect the activation and migration of the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.
