While the Pro models will be powered by the M2 chip, the redesigned iPad comes with the A14 Bionic chip
Apple released its new iPad lineup on Tuesday, which includes a redesigned 10th generation iPad and two new iPad Pro models.
The 10th generation iPad comes with a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, no home button or headphone jack, Touch ID on the power button, flatter bezels and a sleeker look.
iPads will also get Wi-Fi 6 and 5G support.
The iPad will feature a 12MP ultra-wide front-facing camera that will now be placed along the edge of the device in landscape mode. The rear camera has also been updated and will support 4K video recording.
The new iPad Pro models will be available in two screen sizes, one with a 12.9″ and an 11″ screen. Functionally, however, they will be the same.
Both iPad Pro models will come with a new feature that will allow the Apple Pencil to be detected hovering over the display. This will allow adding user interface features based on the placement of the pencil.
iPad Pro models will also come with Wi-Fi 6E with support for a wider range of 5G bands for better connectivity.
Apple brought USB-C across new devices.
The new iPad 10th generation has been priced at ₹44,900, while the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models are priced at ₹81,900 and ₹1,12,900 respectively. The devices will be available from October 28.
