Clubhouse introduces a payment feature for content creators

Clubhouse of the audio chat app said on Monday it would introduce the monetization feature to its creators on the platform and that it would not receive a fee from it.

All users will be able to send payments via the platform, Clubhouse said. The pay-per-view feature will initially be found among a small test team, and will be released to other users by waves, says a noisy social media company.

Here’s How It Works:

To send a payment to Clubhouse, simply tap on the creator’s profile (with valid feature) and then tap “Send Money”.

Enter the amount you would like to send them. The first time you do this, you will be asked to register a credit or bank card.

100% of the payment will go to the creator. The sender will be charged a small processing fee, which will go directly to our payment processing partner, Stripe. The Clubhouse will not take anything.

Invite the app only

The San Francisco app, which allows people to gather in audio chat rooms to discuss a variety of topics, requires young people to be invited by existing users before they can join.
