Cryptocurrency wallet will appear in the Microsoft Edge browser

Well-known insider under the nickname Albacore published screenshots of a prototype crypto wallet integrated into the Microsoft Edge browser. According to the feature description, the company wants to provide customers with the ability to store private keys and passwords without third-party solutions, thus making it easier to interact with Web3. The feature will support both cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

It is worth noting that Microsoft will not distribute cryptocurrency or NFT for participation in testing, and also does not intend to pay compensation in case of loss of funds. Simply put, users who have access to a crypto wallet in Edge should use it at their own risk.

The crypto wallet in Edge will display the current balance, available assets, transaction history, connected applications, etc. Integration with Coinbase and MoonPay has been announced, thanks to which users will be able to buy crypto coins and send money to other people.
