Microsoft and Kojima Productions have announced that Death Stranding will be added to the PC Game Pass catalog on August 23rd. It is worth noting that the original version of the game, and not Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, will be available to subscribers.
Recall that Death Stranding was released in 2019 as an exclusive for the PlayStation 4, and after about a year the game reached the PC. The publisher of the game for the console is still PlayStation Studios, so the game is unlikely to ever make it to the Xbox family of consoles. The PC version is published by 505 Games.
By the way, Xbox Game Studios and Kojima Productions are working on a new game that will be tied to Microsoft’s cloud technologies. The project is at an early stage of development, so there are no details yet.
