Nothing ear (1)

Ear tips in new AirPods Pro incompatible with older model: Apple

Apple explained that the new silicone ear tips with the second generation AirPods Pro are not compatible with the older generation AirPods Pro.

In a supporting document, the tech giant said that the original AirPods Pro earbuds have a “noticeably denser mesh” compared to the second-generation earbuds.

“The ear tips have been designed specifically for their AirPods Pro generation to deliver the highest fidelity sound,” the company said.

As a result, “use the ear tips that come with your AirPods Pro.”

The company explained the reason why the AirPods Pro (1st generation) ear tips have a noticeably denser mesh than the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) ear tips.

However, using older earbuds will not affect the sound quality or noise cancellation of the new AirPods.

The problem that users will face is the proper fit of the old tips in the ear due to the dense mesh.

With the new H2 chip, AirPods Pro, available in India for Rs 26,900, provide an exceptional acoustic experience and cancel up to twice as much noise as the previous generation AirPods Pro.

This time, a new extra small ear tip is included, so even more people can experience the magic of AirPods Pro.

With a new low-distortion audio driver and a custom amplifier, AirPods Pro now offer richer bass and crystal clear sound across a wider frequency range.

With touch controls on AirPods Pro, a light swipe up or down the stem allows for quick volume adjustments.

AirPods Pro offers 1.5 more hours of listening time compared to the first generation, up to six hours in total with active noise cancellation.
