Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro launched in India: Check price, features and specifications

Google today launched the Pixel 7 series globally and in India, the first flagship Pixel phone to launch in the country in years. The new phones include the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, two phones with a familiar design language, new colors and updated specs.

Both phones also come with Android 13 out of the box along with stereo speakers and more. Here’s a quick look at the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro specs.

Google Pixel 7

The Google Pixel 7 comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED FHD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is IP68 dust and water resistant and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a horizontal camera bar design.

The device will be powered by Google’s new Tensor G2 chip, which is the successor to last year’s Tensor chip. This is complemented by 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the back of the phone is a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. This is joined by a front-facing 10.8Mp camera for selfies and video calls. The rear setup is capable of recording up to 4K 60fps video, while the front-facing camera can record 4K video at 30fps.

Other features of the phone include stereo speakers, 4,335mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging and wireless charging support. The device will be available in three colors – Obsidian, Lemongrass and Snow.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

The Pixel 7 Pro will feature a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD screen with a 120Hz LTPO panel. This device also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and comes with IP68 certification.

The Pixel 7 Pro will also be powered by the new Tensor G2 chipset and will come with 12GB of RAM as standard with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

There will be three cameras on the back of the Pixel 7 Pro, including a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 48MP telephoto lens, which this time will offer 5x zoom instead of 4x zoom. There is also a 10.8MP front camera.

The device is also said to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging and wireless charging support. The three colors here are Obsidian, Snow and Hazel variants.

Both phones also come with Android 13 and Material You design along with five years of security updates.
