How to change keyboard layout order in Windows 11 Build 25300+ (Dev)

Windows 11 Insider Build 25300, available on the Dev channel, has quite a few hidden features that are almost ready for public testing. Earlier we talked about the new Gallery section in File Explorer based on the Windows App SDK, and now it’s time to talk about another useful feature.

In the “Settings” application in the “Time and Language” -> “Keyboard” section, it is now possible to change the order of installed keyboard layouts. Thus, now you can determine which layout will be the first in the list, including on the login screen, as well as arrange the rest of the layouts according to your preferences. Changes will be visible in the layout pop-up menu on the taskbar.

This feature was discovered by insiders Gustave Monce And PhantomOfEarth.
