Windows 11 Insider Build 25163, released last week on the Dev channel, has a new feature called Taskbar Overflow, which can be translated as “taskbar overflow.” This feature allows the operating system to move application icons in the taskbar to a separate menu if the taskbar runs out of free space for icons.
A week later, the innovation reached the insider builds of Windows 11 version 22H2 on the Release Preview and Beta channels. So, in build 22621.317 (RP), this feature is disabled by default and was not mentioned in the changelog, while in build 22622.440 (Beta), A / B testing is carried out, which is why the innovation is not available to all users.
If you’re not featured or want to enable a feature in a build on the Release Preview channel, you can use the ViVeTool utility to force the feature to be enabled. You will find instructions below.
cd /d "C:\ViVeTool"
vivetool /enable /id:35620393 /store:both
vivetool /enable /id:35620394 /store:both
