Microsoft has yet to announce a date for its annual Build 2023 developer conference, although it has confirmed that the event will take place this year. The conference site now displays the message “Thank you for your interest in the Microsoft Build. We’re getting ready to start registration – check back later!”. Simply put, Microsoft is almost ready for the official announcement of the event.
At the same time, in the code of the main page of the mybuild.microsoft.com site, enthusiasts managed to find the estimated dates for Build 2023 – from May 23 to May 25. Of course, this could be a simple placeholder text, so it’s worth waiting for official confirmation from Microsoft. But the dates look very plausible, as last year the event took place from May 24 to 26.
Last year’s Build 2022 was a hybrid event, meaning some developers were still able to attend the event in person, but most followed the event through live streams. It is not known whether this approach will be maintained this year, or if the company will again return to hosting completely virtual events.
