Microsoft Chief Technology Officer Germany Andreas Braun at the event “AI in Focus – Digital Kickoffannounced that the latest GPT-4 language model will be unveiled next week. It will not only be more powerful than the current version of GPT-3.5 used in ChatGPT, but will also receive a number of new features, including the ability to generate video.
Next week we will introduce GPT-4, which will offer multimodal models with different capabilities such as video.
Recall that ChatGPT and other services based on the GPT-3.5 model can only provide text responses. It follows from Brown’s comment that this will change with the advent of GPT-4, which means that the new language model will be able to create other types of content.
As for the Bing chatbot, it is based on the patented Prometheus technology, which allows you to quickly receive answers based on up-to-date information about the world. Initially, it was assumed that the chatbot was based on the unannounced GPT-4 model, but, apparently, this is not the case.
