Microsoft Starts Testing AI-powered Microsoft Designer App DALL-E 2

Microsoft has introduced a new app called Microsoft Designer, which is part of the Microsoft 365 service. With this app, users can quickly and easily create social media posts, invitations, digital cards, graphics, and more. Microsoft Designer is based on artificial intelligence DALL-E 2, which is able to create various complex images based on a text description.

For example, if you want to create an invitation with a snowy waterfall as the background, then just type “waterfall in the snow” and the artificial intelligence will generate the appropriate image. The suggested results will get more complex as text and images are added.

Liat Ben-Zure, Corporate Vice President, Modern Life, Search & Devices, said:

The Designer application was born thanks to PowerPoint, where Designer uses artificial intelligence to generate templates when creating a presentation. Depending on the type of content, Designer in PowerPoint gives you several options to choose from. Our clients have saved over eight billion slides (and more) using Designer in PowerPoint. We’re excited to build on that legacy by introducing cutting-edge artificial intelligence for text-to-image conversion in the new Microsoft Designer app.

Microsoft Designer is at the testing stage, so all users can try it absolutely free after receiving an invitation. The feature set is currently limited. After testing is complete, the application will be included in the Microsoft 365 subscription. In the future, the developers plan to integrate the application into Microsoft Edge.
