Microsoft has announced an annual fall event dedicated to new Surface devices. The presentation will take place October 12 at 17:00 Moscow time. Live stream will be available on the official website of Microsoft.
It is expected that the Surface Pro 9 tablet will be presented at this event in modifications with Intel and ARM processors. It is possible that the device will receive several new colors, including Sapphire (blue) and Forrest (green), in addition to the usual Graphite and Platinum.
Microsoft is also expected to announce a new generation of Surface Laptops, although it looks like we’ll only see 12th-generation Intel variants this fall. If this is true, then the new products may well come out under the name Surface Laptop 4+, and not Surface Laptop 5.
Surface Studio 3 is another expected new product this fall. Information about accessories for the device has already leaked to the network, so there is almost no doubt about the imminent announcement of the device. Recall that the last Surface Studio was released back in 2018 with a long-outdated 7th generation Intel processor.
For the rest of the news, there is no information yet. It is possible that we will see a new generation of Surface Earbuds, updated Type Cover keyboards and a devkit for ARM developers, codenamed Project Volterra.
