Microsoft Teams is now available in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and 11

The Microsoft Teams client is now available in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Announced by on your Twitter* Mikhail Chernomordikov, Microsoft Store team manager. Note that the information about the appearance of Teams in the app store appeared in the Microsoft 365 roadmap about a month ago.

If you’re using Windows 11, the Microsoft Store version of Teams will only support work and school accounts. The fact is that another Teams client for personal accounts is preinstalled in the operating system, which is the basis for the Chat function on the taskbar. Teams for Windows 10 supports personal, work, and school accounts.

Otherwise, Teams from the Microsoft Store works exactly the same as the version downloaded from the official website. App updates are made through their own mechanism, not through the store.
