Microsoft to remove 46 games from Xbox 360 store in early February

Microsoft announced removal of 46 games from the Xbox 360 marketplace. This will affect both the games themselves and DLC for them. The Purge will affect series such as Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty. The removal will take place gradually, so the exact dates for a particular project have not yet been disclosed. All previously purchased games will remain on the players’ accounts.

In the first wave, starting February 7, 2023, the following games will be removed from the store:

  • Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD
  • Blood of the Werewolf
