Microsoft will add ads for its products to the main Settings page in Windows 11

Famous Albacore insider shared* new screenshots of the in-progress homepage in the Settings app for WIndows 11, which looks set to include a banner advertising Microsoft 365. This page is known to be present in Insider Build 23451 for the Dev Channel, but is currently hidden from prying eyes, as work on it has not yet been completed.

So, the banner offering to subscribe to Microsoft 365 is located at the top of the main Settings page. Below it is a block with information about the current state of OneDrive cloud storage, and even lower – tips for improving account security.

However, this is not the only option for the location of the blocks. In another implementation, users will first see a block with information about OneDrive, and below, an offer to subscribe to Microsoft 365.

In addition, a new tooltip has appeared in the Accounts section that will notify users when support for installed Microsoft products has ended. For example, in the screenshot below, the system reports that Office 2013 is no longer supported.
