Microsoft has announced that starting October 2022, the monthly Xbox Games with Gold game selections will no longer include games for the Xbox 360. adding Xbox 360 games to the catalog.
This change doesn’t affect Xbox 360 games you already own in the Games with Gold catalog, so you’ll be able to download them from your library even if you don’t have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.
The Games with Gold Free Game Collections will continue to appear once a month, but will only include Xbox One games. However, it is not yet known whether the number of games in these collections will decrease.
