Last week, Microsoft released the first feature update for Windows 11 called the 2022 Update (version 22H2). Unfortunately, after installing the update, some users have experienced a variety of problems, including stuttering and a general drop in frame rates in games. The problems were solved by rolling back to a previous version of Windows.
Thankfully, NVIDIA quickly confirmed the problem and released a driver update for NVIDIA GeForce Experience beta users. Other users should receive the updated GeForce Game Ready driver soon.
“Some users may experience performance degradation in games or applications after updating to Microsoft Windows 11 2022 Update,” it says. on the NVIDIA support page. “In order to solve the problem, you need to install NVIDIA GeForce Experience v.3.26 beta. Users can download it from NVIDIA website or update the utility using the “Settings” section in GeForce Experience.”
