OnePlus today unveiled a new smartphone under the Nord Indian series in the central part. Known as the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, the smartphone features a MediaTek chipset with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Along with Nord CE 2, the Chinese smartphone maker has also unveiled two new smart TVs in the Y series that integrate their portfolio into affordable category buyers. OnePlus smart TVs are named after the Y1S and Y1S Edge.
These products will be sold through the offline channels Flipkart, Amazon and OnePlus. Some of your content will be available on Croma and Reliance Digital.
More importantly, OnePlus will withdraw the first generation of Nord phones in the Indian market and will only be available until stocks expire.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G
The Nord CE 2 5G features a 6nm MediaTek Dimension 900 chipset integrated with 6GB RAM. It comes with two versions of 6GB and 8GB and 128GB of internal storage. It can be expanded and up to 1TB with a MicroSD card. The phone is running Oxygen OS 11.3 outside the box based on Android 11.
It has a 6.43 inch AMOLED display with 90Hz resolution. The sports smartphone has a 64MP triple camera setup and an 8MP Ultra-wide sensor and 2MP macro lens. The Nord CE 2 5G has a 16MP selfie camera. For sound, the OnePlus used a 3.5mm jack on the Nord CE 2. It gets a 4,500mAh battery and a 65W SuperVOOC charger in the box.
Price and availability
The Nord CE 2 5G comes in two colors, the Gray Mirror and the Bahama Blue. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is priced at Rs 23,999 in 6GB / 128GB variants. The 8GB / 128GB model will be available at ₹ 24,499.
It will go on sale on February 22 at Amazon, in stores and on OnePlus sites.
OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge
OnePlus smart TV Y1S
OnePlus also introduced two new smart TVs in the affordable Y series, the Y1S TV and the Y1S Edge. Smart TVs have features like Oxygen Play 2.0, Gamma engine, HDR and HDR10 +, 24W speaker. Both TVs running on Android TV 11. The Y1S Edge TV screen receives TUV Rheinland certification.
The Y1S TV comes with a 20W speaker and the Y1S Edge gets 24W audio output. The TV Y1S comes in two 32-inch and 43-inch sizes.
Price and availability
The OnePlus TV Y1S is priced at Rs 16,499 (32 inch) and the large screen size TV will sell for ₹ 26,999.
The Y1S Edge TV will sell for Rs 16,999 for 32 inches and the 43-inch TV will be available for ₹ 27,999.
The 32-inch model of both TVs will be on sale from February 21 on Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, Reliance Digital and the company’s website. The 43-inch Y1S will be available from 2 March.
