OnePlus India will launch three new products tomorrow. The Chinese smartphone maker will add a new smartphone to its Nord series via the OnePlus Nord CE 2 which comes as a 5G handset even though resources are not yet available in India. Along with Nord CE 2, OnePlus will be strengthening its smart TV portfolio in the budget phase by introducing two new smart TVs, the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge.
OnePlus will be launching the new products on February 17 in India which will be broadcast at 7:00 pm IST on the company’s social media channels. It has already created a ‘Let Me Know’ page of these products that may be launched on Amazon in India.
With the expansion of its Nord CE smartphone, CE 2 will see a few unexpected changes. In anticipation, OnePlus has confirmed that it will use the MediaTek Dimension 900 chipset. Along with it, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will see a 65W faster charger come in the box. Teaser says the Nord CE 2 5G will continue to use the punch hole display as we have seen in previous Nord phones and the Pac-Man program.
The display will feature a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a frequency response of 90Hz. It may pack a combination of 6GB / 64GB for different startups. It will be interesting to see the OS and skin come in with the Nord CE 2 5G. We can also see the 3.5mm jack audio Nord CE 2 audio jack.
OnePlus may use three camera settings in the Nord CE 2. It may detect a 64MP main lens and an 8MP sensor and a 2MP lens. The selife camera is expected to be 16MP. The 65W charger is estimated to be powered by a 4,500mAh battery.
Expected Price
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G may have a price tag of ₹ 23,999 of 6GB variations and may continue depending on the variance.
OnePlus Y1S and Y1S Edge
The new OnePlus Y-series smart TV will cater to budget buyers and primarily take over the Redmi smart TV range. New smart TVs may see features such as, 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos. The company has confirmed the use of Android TV 11 on these smart TVs. The design says abezel-less.
Y1S may be on the easy side while Y1S Edge will see some of the most advanced features. These smart TVs will also sell on Amazon as well but the Y1S Edge may not be offline only.
Expected Price
Depending on the size, the Y1S is likely to get less than 30K for 43 inches, probably Rs 28,999 and the Y1S Edge may break the 35K inch 43-inch mark.
