Oppo recently launched its Reno7 series in China with Reno7 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G and Reno7 SE 5G. The first sale starts on December 3 at 10:00 for Reno7 and Reno7 Pro and December 17 at 10:00 for Reno7 SE.
Reno7 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G is the top of the three Reno7 phones. It plays a MediaTek Dimension 1200-Max chipset integrated with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Both configurations start with 256GB of storage.
Previously, the Reno7 Pro 5G had a 6.55-inch AMOLED with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz sample touch rate and embedded fingerprint scanner. The screen has 1080p resolution and can reach up to 800 nits in direct sunlight.
At the back is a 50MP Sony IMX766 1 / 1.56-inch main camera, ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro shooter. There is a 32MP IMX709 selfie camera on the front.
The camera island is illuminated by a dual breathable LED like a notification LED. Oppo sends phones via ColorOS 12, based on Android 12.
Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G
The Reno7 Pro 5G has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging. Prices for 8 / 256GB and 12 / 256GB are CNY 3,699 and CNY 3,999.
Oppo Reno7 5G shares many Pro details. Its battery has the same capacity of 4,500mAh, but it charges less than 60W.
The Reno7 5G also has 90Hz 1080p AMOLED, but is 6.43-inch smaller.
The main camera has a 64MP sensor, but is still integrated with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units. On the front, it looks like a 32MP photo shoot.
The internal processor is a Snapdragon 778G with 8GB or 12GB of RAM with options of 8 / 128GB, 8 / 256GB or 12 / 256GB fixed storage.
Prices for Reno7 5G start at CNY 2,699.
Reno7 SE 5G
Finally, we come to the Reno7 SE 5G. It has the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate as the Reno7 5G. It also has a 4,500mAh battery capacity, only charging at 33W only.
There is a Dimensity 900 with 8GB of RAM and an option of 128GB or 256GB of storage.
48MP IMX581 cameras, paired with a duo of 2MP sensors – one for macro, the other for depth sensor.
There is no word yet on when the Reno7 series will be released in China, but it should be in early 2022.
