Samsung TV Plus’s free streaming service has been launched

Samsung has announced the launch of its TV Plus service in India. This service will provide Samsung Smart TV users with free TV content via live channels supported by ads and much-needed videos. There is no need for a set-top box to use Samsung TV Plus. Samsung will not charge a fee for registering for this service.

Samsung Smart TV launched in 2017 and up will be able to use the TV Plus service with the help of an internet connection. Users will have access to content from genres such as news, lifestyle, technology, gaming and science, sports and outdoor, music, movies and shows. It will include 27 international and local channels. Samsung says more content partners will be included in the TV Plus app in the future. In all, there are over 800 channels in all genres.

This service will not be limited to smart TVs. Most Galaxy smartphones and tablets with Android O OS or higher software types will be able to use the app. It will be available for download in April 2021 on Samsung Galaxy Store and Google Play Store. However, the launch date has not yet been determined.

“One year ago, consumers spent more time at home. Their televisions and smartphones have become the center of their lives, entertainment and information. We also noticed that consumers are now more appreciative of the content of major media, which is why we chose to launch Samsung TV Plus in India. In the next few months, we expect to rate TV Plus to add more channels and content, ”said Reshma Prasad Virmani, Director of Services, Samsung India.

With the launch of Samsung TV Plus in India, broadcast service is now available in 14 countries including the US, Canada, Korea, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, UK, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, Brazil and Mexico.
