Samsung has already begun testing One UI 5 firmware based on Android 13 for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 smartphones. The new version will bring with it several graphical improvements and a number of new features, including the long-awaited multiplayer support. It is reported by the Dutch portal Galaxy Club.
Multiplayer is expected to be available in One UI 5.0 Beta 3 for all devices enrolled in the beta program. It is worth noting that this function has been present in the Android operating system for a long time, but it was not available on Samsung smartphones.
Multi-user mode allows you to use multiple accounts on your device, each with its own home screen, set of applications, settings, and more. This will be useful if you want to create different profiles for work and personal purposes, for example. If you urgently need a second account, you can use the guest profile.
Even though a smartphone is most often a personal device, sometimes it can be used by your children, wife, or friends. That is why it is advisable to create additional profiles so that everyone has their own personal space. In doing so, you can set up restrictions for the created profiles. For example, you can block calls from other accounts.
To enable the feature, you need to go to the Settings application, select the Accounts and Backup section, go to the Users page and enable the corresponding setting. After that, your main account will receive administrator rights.
