Snapchat has officially unveiled Snapchat +, a paid membership of USD 3.99 / month service that will give users access to a variety of features including the option to change the app icon and the ability to know who reviewed your news.
According to TechCrunch, the company said earlier this month it was testing the capability, although it did not provide details. It has now officially launched Snapchat +. It is not yet clear how Snapchat intends to distinguish between features made available to beta testers and those made available to subscribers.
To increase their revenue, a few social networking sites experiment with subscription-based services. The Twitter service for Blue Blue first appeared in Canada and Australia last year before being available in the United States and New Zealand, as reported by TechCrunch.
