Starfield and Redfall postponed to first half of 2023

Bethesda Softworks has announced that Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield and Arkane Austin’s Redfall are being pushed back to the first half of 2023. At the same time, the company noted that in the near future players will be shown the gameplay of both games. There is no doubt that the presentation of the gameplay will take place as part of the event Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase scheduled for June 12th.

Recall that the sci-fi role-playing game Starfield was supposed to be released on November 11, 2022, that is, exactly 11 years after the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. But for Redfall, a specific release date was not called, but it was promised that the cooperative shooter would be released in the summer of 2022.

Both games will be exclusive to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, and will be available in the Xbox Game Pass catalog from day one. These are the first Xbox exclusives from Bethesda since Microsoft acquired the ZeniMax Media holding.
