It seems that only a few days are left before the official announcement of the Surface Laptop Go 2. At least today, the device was seen in the catalog of a Korean online store, as reported by Portal The Verge. It is assumed that the new generation of budget laptop in the Surface line will be presented on June 2, 2022.
According to published data, the top-end Surface Laptop Go 2 will be equipped with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. This information is consistent with what is already leaked to the network in April of this year. The description of the device also claims an improved HD camera, but there are no details about this yet.
The rest of the specifications are likely to remain unchanged. If so, then the Surface Laptop Go 2 will have a 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 1536×1024 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The device will feature USB-A, USB-C, Surface Connect, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Like its predecessor, there will be no fingerprint scanner as standard.
Previous rumors have also indicated that Microsoft will introduce a new colorway for the Surface Laptop Go 2 called Sage, which will join the existing Platinum, Ice Blue, and Sandstone variants.
