They say, ‘Imagination is the highest kite to fly’. The same goes for these young authors who used their imaginations to create a masterpiece. Twenty young authors collaborated on the project and contributed stories that resulted in a book that cannot be put down – ‘The Sheen of Hope’.
‘The Sheen of Hope’ has twenty different stories of different genres that give its readers a simple message that ‘hope’ even in the darkest of times can help you pull through.
The stories have different genres like drama, horror, science fiction, historical fiction, humor and thriller. So there is a story for every reader. A soldier who fights during the world war era in a battle, a young girl who has the responsibility of her family, a teenage girl who is unable to follow her dreams, a young NRI businessman who has to choose between family or career, a boy who fights in a battle on life and death on the island; each story will keep you glued to the book.
The young writers were part of the Twin Win course, which guides students in innovative thinking, creative writing, public speaking and overall profile building.
Vaibhav Pande, CEO, Twin Win, says, “These young writers have proven their mettle. These students received months of training from authors, media personalities and personality experts to improve their writing, English language and public speaking skills. The best part is that the authors who are part of this interesting anthology are in the age group between 9 and 18 years. It goes to show that age is just a number and if you have the right skills, the right training and a positive mindset, anything is possible.”
When asked about this experience, the young authors answer: “Becoming an author is a journey that we will cherish forever. We all worked as a group for almost six months and learned teamwork, helping each other and turning thoughts into words. It’s like a dream come true for all of us.”

The difficult trials of people fighting a terminal illness, a psychologist’s experiences with various patients, school students trying to change the system, young people who discover that they are more than just teenagers, a young girl who rediscovers her destiny by finding new friends , a boy who learns a life lesson, even as the mystery and horror story keeps the reader in suspense and wonder.
