The upcoming Apple iPhone SE 4 is likely to have a 6.1-inch display

Tech giant Apple is reportedly planning to launch its next iPhone SE 4 model with a larger 6.1-inch display instead of the 4.7-inch display found in earlier SE models.

The upcoming iPhone SE will have the same design as the iPhone XR, which is in line with past rumors, according to new tech player Jon Prosser, GizmoChina reported.

Meanwhile, the iPhone SE 2 and SE 3 editions have a similar design to the iPhone 8, the report said.

Like its predecessors, the iPhone SE 4 will not have thick bezels at the top and bottom. The home button is not available on this device as it has a notched display with thin bezels. Previously, the fingerprint sensor was built into the Home button.

According to rumors, the iPhone SE 4 could be Apple’s first phone with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is likely to launch in 2023.

The leak does not confirm the internals of the iPhone SE 4, but it could have a single camera with LED flash on the back with an Apple A15 or A16 Bionic chipset, the report said.

The new generation SE will be available in black, white and red.
