Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has today expanded its X series in India by launching the X80 series featuring two new phones; Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro. The Vivo X80 series is built in conjunction with ZEISS, the largest German optics. It also introduced two new TWS; 2 ANC and 2E.
The Vivo X80 series offers the first ZEISS Gimbal camera, 50MP IMX866 sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and Vivo’s imaging chip V1 +.
The X80 Pro has a four-rear camera system with 50MP GNV camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 48MP wide camera, 12MP Gimbal camera, 8MP Periscope camera, and 32MP front camera .
Meanwhile, the X80 features a 50MP IMX866 sensor, a 12MP Portrait camera, a new 12MP wide camera, integrated with a 32MP front camera.
The entire X80 series is equipped with a Vivo imaging chip i.e. vivo V1 + chip. In addition, the vivo V1 + chip enhances the X80 series experience in display and playback, Vivo said.
The Vivo X80 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while the X80 gets the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. The X80 series is loaded with LPDDR5 and UFS3.1.
The whole series supports 80W FlashCharge, while the X80 Pro also supports the 50W FlashCharge with 4,700mAh battery, while the X80 has 4,500mAh battery.
Vivo also introduces new TWS series; TWS ANC and TWS 2E. The Vivo TWS 2 ANC comes with 40dB enhanced audio cancellation and HD audio codec. The Vivo TWS ANC and TWS 2E are fitted with 12.2mm drivers. The Vivo TWS 2 ANC and 2E come with Bluetooth 5.2 and Google Assistant.
Price and Availability
Price is Rs 79,999 (12GB + 256GB), X80 Pro will be on sale from May 25. The X80 is priced at Rs 54,999 (8GB + 128GB) and Rs 59,999 (12GB + 256GB) will be on sale from May 25 Both smartphones will be available at Flipkart, e-Vivo store and all partner stores.
The X80 Pro comes in a Cosmic Black color and the X80 is available in two colors; Cosmic Black and Urban Blue.
In addition, TWS 2 ANC and TWS 2E are priced at ₹ 5,999 and Rs 3,299 respectively and will be available from 25 May.
