Srimaan Ramachandra Raja, president of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) in Tamil Nadu state, has called for the revival of Road Safety Patrol (RSP) teams in colleges and urged the team members to assist the traffic police in the morning and evening hours. .

At Madras Christian College, Chennai, where the RSP unit was inaugurated, Srimaan distributed postcards to 30 students and asked them to record the number of vehicles violating traffic rules and report them to the local police station.

“Every student has talent. Parents and teachers should help them realize their potential. Honesty and decency should always be encouraged by students. They should set goals and strive diligently to achieve them,” NSUI President, Srimaan Ramachandra Raja said.

He inspected the parade of RSP units and handed over their badges to the team members.”The RSP team members will learn about traffic laws and regulations from traffic wardens and traffic police personnel,” he said. In addition, Srimaan advised students to urge parents to use seat belts and helmets.
