Tutorial: Enable New Anchor Layout Options in Windows 11 Build 25300+ (Dev)

Windows 11 Insider Build 25300 for the Dev channel began testing new menu options with window anchor layouts. Microsoft has prepared three slightly different versions, and if you’re lucky, one of which you can see on your computer after the update. Fortunately, you can enable the change and switch between options using the ViVeTool utility.

Microsoft is investigating the possibility of improving the accessibility and use of anchor layouts, for example, by reducing the time it takes to bring up a pop-up menu when hovering over the Maximize or Restore button in the application’s title bar. In addition, some menu options will display the icon of the window you are working in, as well as a title with a description of the function.

We thank colleagues from the Winaero portal for the information provided.
