Uber will reopen San Francisco’s limited capacity next week

Uber Technologies Inc said on Thursday it planned to open their offices in Mission Bay, San Francisco, where 20% of the population would be living on March 29, and give workers the opportunity to return to work “voluntarily”.

The passenger company had announced the extension of its homework policy until September 13.

Employees returning to the office will comply with COVID-19 regulations such as the requirement for a face mask during the initial reopening, to maintain safe distance and to clear areas such as their desks, Uber said in a statement.

The company also said that workers or those with sick family members needed to stay home.
