Vivo Y22 Launched in India: Check Price, Specs & More

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched its Y22 in India. This smartphone has a 6.55-inch HD+ LCD display with a peak brightness of 530 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.67%. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Vivo’s handset is currently available for purchase via the company’s website in two colors.

The Vivo Y22 comes at a price of ₹14,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant. Meanwhile, another 6GB RAM with 128GB storage is slated to launch in India. The smartphone is currently available on the official website in Metaverse Green and Starlit Blue color variants.

In addition, the smartphone brand has announced an exchange offer to reduce the price of the Vivo Y22. Interested customers can avail a discount of ₹ 750 on HDFC Bank credit and debit card transactions. This offer is also valid for HDFC Bank Card EMI transactions.

This smartphone from Vivo is a dual SIM (nano) smartphone that runs on Funtouch OS 12. It features a 6.55-inch HD+ LCD display. The display has a screen-to-body ratio of 89.67%, supports 70% NTSC color gamut coverage with a maximum brightness of 530 nits and a waterdrop-style notch to house the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC, complemented by up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The phone’s internal storage can also be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Talking about optics, the Vivo Y22 offers a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and f/1.8 aperture lens. The Vivo Y22 also has a 2MP bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, the device sports an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. For connectivity, Vivo Y22 comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, FM radio and OTG support.

For secure authentication, the device is equipped with a side fingerprint sensor. It features a USB Type-C port for charging and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
