Innovations
Improving the design of the touch keyboard
Members of the Windows Insider program may notice some additional improvements to the touch keyboard design that have been made based on feedback. In precise, the following are the changes which were made:
Now, when undocking the keyboard, it switches to a compact layout, so you can easily move the keyboards around the screen using the area at the top of the keyboard.
Compact and Split have received updated icons that are similar to the default layout icon.
The settings menu is now having a nested formation, which is enhanced observed.
Also, a new key has appeared to the left of the space bar to display the entered password, which, of course, will only appear if the focus is set to the field for entering the password.
Some insiders may also see the updated default keyboard layout on devices with a screen diagonal of 12 inches or more. This layout is more similar to traditional keyboards and includes the ESC, Tab, Windows keys and a few other small improvements.
Finally, some insiders complained that the word prediction panel sometimes looks cluttered, making it difficult to quickly process the data that appears there. To reduce the cognitive load, the panel will now display up to 5 words, and all of them will be located in the centre above the keyboard.
Changes and Improvements
Now, when you right-click on locally saved files displayed in the jump lists, in addition to the “Open” option, “Open File location”will appear.
Updated the N’KO keyboard layout to allow users to enter currency symbols and some other symbols by holding down the Shift key and pressing the keys in the top row.
Now you do not need administrator rights to change the switch that is responsible for enabling or disabling the touchpad. The switch is located in the section “Settings” – > “Devices” – > “Touch Panel”.
Updated dictionaries to improve the relevance of spell checking and text prediction.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the taskbar context menu and the News and Interests popup overlapped.
Fixed an issue wherein some cases the CPU load increased to 100% when the News and Interests window was first launched.
Fixed an issue that could cause the “Task Manager” to crash when going to the “Details” tab.
Fixed an issue that some insiders had with the Clock and Calendar pop-up window that could cause ShellExperienceHost to unexpectedly create an excessively high CPU load.
Fixed a problem that created the State Repository Service to stop prematurely if it was started. If this problem affected you, then one of the potential indications was an increase in the desktop loading experience when logging in. If you proceed to encounter performance obstacles when logging in, then send a survey with diagnostic data to the segment “Install and Update” – > “Hang when logging in”.
Fixed an issue where searching for the “change password” line and selecting from the “Settings” app would cause the app to crash.
Fixed an issue where the Aero Shake feature was unexpectedly disabled in the last few builds.
Fixed an issue where moving a window between monitors with different DPI values would cause the window borders to be calculated with the wrong DPI, and expanding the window would cause the window to exit to the screen borders on one of the monitors.
Fixed an issue that could cause some HEIF files to fail to render even though the required codecs were installed.
Fixed an issue where pinning a website from Microsoft Edge to the taskbar didn’t work in previous builds.
Fixed an issue that could lead to multiple round-trip connections and VPN disconnections.

Fixed an issue where nothing happened after clicking on the “Wi-Fi password required” notification.
Fixed an issue where some games, such as State of Decay 2 or Assassin’s Creed, could crash or crash on startup.

Known Issues
On this build, users of Miracast may experience a very low frame rate.
We are examining reports that the system update method may stretch for a long moment when trying to install a new build.
