Windows 10 version 22H2 became available on the Release Preview channel

Microsoft announced today that Windows 10 version 22H2 is available to members of the Windows Insider program using the Release Preview channel. Build number 19045.1865 (KB5015878) is distributed as an optional update, so to get it, you must manually check for updates in Windows Update and agree to the installation.

Windows 10 version 22H2 is also available to business customers through the Release Preview channel through the Windows Insider for Business program. This will allow organizations to prepare for the upcoming public release of a new version of the operating system.

If the device is configured to receive Insider Builds through Microsoft Intune or Group Policy, then Windows 10 version 22H2 will be offered as an optional upgrade. Also, the new version of the system is available in Windows Server Update Service and Azure Marketplace. When problems arise, IT administrators in organizations can contact Microsoft support for free assistance.

Note. A device is considered owned by an organization if it is either managed by an IT administrator (for example, through Microsoft Endpoint Manager or another solution) or has a volume license key / corporate ID, or is joined to a domain. Devices running Windows 11 Home cannot be corporate.
