Microsoft announced that Windows 10 version 22H2 (2022 Update) is ready for mass distribution and is available to everyone. Relevant information published on the Release Notes page. The company recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10 as soon as possible so that you can take advantage of new features and get advanced protection against modern security threats.
Windows 10 2022 Update is distributed using Servicing Technology. All changes are already present in the November 2021 Update, but are in a disabled state. The released update only activates these changes, so the whole process should take a matter of minutes, and the likelihood of any critical problems is extremely small.
It is worth noting that the maintenance technology will only apply to May 2020 Update, October 2020 Update, May 2021 Update, and November 2021 Update users. If you upgrade from earlier versions of Windows 10, the process is exactly the same as installing a full functional update.
By the way, support for all editions of Windows 10 version 21H2 will end on December 13, 2022.
