Windows 11 Insiders on the Beta Channel may leave the Windows Insider Program until March 8th

Microsoft announcedthat Windows 11 Insiders on the Beta channel who no longer wish to receive pre-release builds of the operating system can leave the Windows Insider program and return to the stable update channel. A decision must be made by March 8, 2023.

It is noted that only Insiders on whose devices Windows 11 builds 22621.1325 or 22623.1325 are installed can take advantage of this offer. If you upgrade to newer builds, you won’t be able to exit the Windows Insider Program.

To stop receiving preview builds, open the app Settings -> Windows Update -> Windows Insider Program and choose “Stop receiving preview builds”. The operating system will run a troubleshooter that will unregister the device from the Windows Insider program and, if necessary, remove the package that includes new features in Windows 11. To complete the procedure, you must restart your computer.

On March 14, users who left the Windows Insider program will receive a monthly cumulative update that will complete the transition to stable builds of the operating system. If a decision is not made by March 8, then you will continue to receive new preview builds for the Beta channel.
