Microsoft on the page “Release Information” reported that Windows 11 is ready for mass distribution and available to all users through Windows Update, unless, of course, the device meets the minimum system requirements. Up to this point, a phased rollout has been used so that most users upgrade without significant problems.
That being said, it’s important to note that Microsoft doesn’t intend to force Windows 11, as it did in 2015 when users were forced to upgrade to Windows 10. Upgrading to Windows 11 remains optional, so you can continue using Windows 10 until 2025.
The Microsoft support site also states that the Windows 11 upgrade is not offered for devices that have a specific Intel SST driver installed. To resolve this issue, you need to install a newer Intel Smart Sound Technology driver versions 10.30.00.5714 (or higher) or 10.29.00.5714 (or higher). You can read more about this by this link.
