Windows 11 will get a screen recording tool and iCloud Photos integration

In addition to the presentation of new Surface devices, Microsoft also decided to talk a little about the recently released update for Windows 11 called 2022 Update (version 22H2) and showed a video with an overview of innovations. Microsoft is preparing an update to the Snipping app for Windows 11, which will not only allow you to take screenshots, but also record videos with screen capture or a selected area.

iCloud integration with the Photos app

The updated Photos app, which was recently introduced, will soon be able to display photos not only from OneDrive, but also from iCloud. Microsoft states that for the integration to work, you will need to install iCloud app from Microsoft Storeand update the Photos app to version 2022.31100.9001.0 (or higher).

New Apple TV and Apple Music apps

Also, Windows 11 users will soon be able to stop using iTunes. The fact is that Apple is developing Apple TV and Apple Music applications, which will appear in preview versions in the Microsoft Store later this year. The public release of the apps will take place in 2023.
