Xiaomi announces Smart Standing Fan 2 for India

Diversifying its IoT offerings, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi smart standing fan 2 in India

Smart Standing Fan 2 is a portable fan equipped with 7+5 wing-shaped blades, 100 speed levels and voice control support function.

The Xiaomi Standing Fan 2 is only available in white. It will be sold here for 6,999 CZK. With this standing fan, which is all about aesthetics and somewhat unconventional items for its surroundings, the company is targeting a new segment of buyers here.

The speed and movement of the fan can be controlled using the Mi Home app. Users can also use Alexa and Google Assistant to perform the on/off function.

The Smart Standing Fan 2 comes with a BLDC copper wire motor and two fan blades. The smart fan has 140° horizontal and 39° vertical rotation with a maximum range of 14m. The fan has an adjustable height and can be easily adjusted by anyone. It weighs around 3kg, the company says.
