Xiaomi can launch the Mi 11 Youth Edition on 29 March

Xiaomi will be hosting the launch event on March 29. The event will introduce new smartphones that could include the new Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and even the new Mi Mi smartphone. The company is also expected to launch the new Mi 11 Youth Edition for the event.

The Gizmochina report states that the Mi 11 Lite phone will be introduced in two variants, one with 4G and the other with 5G. The 5G variant is expected to be named as the Mi 11 Youth Edition. The Youth Edition smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 780 5G chipset. If Xiaomi uses this chipset, the Mi 11 Youth Edition will be the first smartphone to acquire the chipset.

A few details about this device have been officially confirmed by a Chinese company. The Youth Edition of the Mi 11 series will be an extremely small phone with just as thin as 6.81mm. With a small device profile, the company is expected to overtake a 3.5mm headphone jack and instead look for a multi-purpose USB Type-C port. The phone is expected to save space on the MicroSD card.

The Mi 11 Youth Edition smartphone is expected to get a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. The display panel is expected to find a complete HD solution. The AMOLED screen will also receive a maximum refresh rate of 91Hz.

In terms of the camera, the phone is expected to provide the younger audience with the help of a 20MP selfie camera that will be placed in the boxing hole. The main camera setup will receive a 64MP sensor and a 5MP macro sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor.

Depending on the RAM it is expected to reach 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to be powered by a 4,250 mAh battery which will also receive 33W faster charging.
